On the occasion of the Eighth Centenary of the death of San Francesco, Helidon Xhixha presents A Fiat... Dialogues of Light in Assisi, a new exhibition project curated by Francesco Gallo Mazzeo and held under the patronage of the City of Assisi.

The title evokes the Fiat of Genesis, the primordial act of Creation through which light came into being. From this founding principle unfolds a journey of monumental sculptures that engage in dialogue with the city's historical heritage, architecture, and Franciscan spirituality, transforming Assisi into an open-air museum where contemporary art and memory converge.

At the heart of the project is Tau, the work conceived by Helidon Xhixha as a tribute to San Francesco. Through mirror-polished stainless steel, the Franciscan symbol is reinterpreted in a contemporary language, becoming a metaphor for peace, transformation, and universality.

At the conclusion of the exhibition, Tau will be donated to the City of Assisi as a permanent testament to this initiative.

The exhibition is completed by the works Big Data, Briccola d'Acciaio, Nebula, Resurrezione di Luce, and Tramonto, which establish a continuous dialogue with the urban environment and its visitors, making them an integral part of the artwork through the reflection of light.
