Helidon Xhixha: Horse Head

| Piazza El Alamein | Novara, Italy

The sculpture, representing a giant horse head mead of stainless steel swirls, is installed right in the center of Piazza El Alamein roundabout in the city of Novara.

The Cultural Councilor of Novara, Grabriello Gilardoni, officially congratulates the artist for the stunning monument dedicated to the valorous and heroic soldiers of the “El Alamein” battle during the second world war.

Art critic, Ms. Silvia Scagliotti, describes the sculpture as inspired by both history and nature where the horse, a beautiful and courageous animal, had an important role during the battle.

The sculpture is made in stainless steel, the matter chosen by Xhixha for most of his creations, thanks to its qualities is resistant to time and has the power to tell a story to the gene ratios to come.
