Heldion Xhixha: The Prancing Horse

| Ferrari Headquarters| Maranello, Italy

Ferrari – Maranello – Italy
The statue represents a great horse, made in stainless steel, five meters high and weighing about 800 kilos. On the 14th October 2003, after the Ferrari’s victory of the Formula One Championship, the sculpture was installed in the center of the roundabout in Via Grizzaga (Maranello), an exceptional position and particularly attractive: a few tens of meters away from the new factories of Ferrari and the Galleria del Vento (Wind Tunnel), designed by architect Renzo Piano”.

Inspired by the passion for speed and the powerful engines of the F1 cars, the sculpture, symbol of the Ferrari, was inaugurated with the presence of Maranello Town’s Mayor Mr. Bertacchini and was dedicated to the Ferrari’s F1 world championship victory of 2003.
